Why the body holds the key

Healing from trauma cannot be achieved by talk alone. How can you heal from something your mind doesn't remember, either because you were too small, or because the experience was so overwhelming that your brain suppressed it?

 When we experience stress, trauma, or do not process emotions, our bodies don't just "get over it." They store it. This can look like:

  • Physical Tension: A body that feels rigid, guarded or constantly fatigued.
  • Mental Noise: Living entirely in your head, overthinking, disconnected from your body.
  • Emotional Stagnation: Feeling "numb," "stuck," avoiding feelings or easily triggered by small things.

Through somatic therapy and breathwork, we go directly to the source: the nervous system. By utilizing the breath and conscious movement, we create a safe space for your body to finally let go of stored tension, suppressed emotions, and trauma. 

After our sessions, you will feel calmer, lighter, and more deeply connected to yourself. You will move through life with a better trust in your intuition. Feeling free, experiencing less daily overwhelm, and equipped with the practical tools to regulate your nervous system whenever your body feels "on."

BRTT

Focus: Releasing the Physical Memory of Trauma 

Body Remember Trauma Therapy (BRTT) is a somatic, body-based therapy designed to help you release the tension and trauma your body has stored over the years. We often think of trauma as something held only in our minds, but our nervous system "locks" these experiences into our muscles and fascia.Through specific exercises focused on activating the psoas muscles, we open the door to the subconscious, where stored emotions and trauma reside. With BRTT, we invite the body to release this tension, allowing the nervous system to regulate and return to a state of calmness. This process helps "reset" your nervous system, gently moving you out of a constant state of "fight or flight" (sympathetic) and back into a state of safety, relaxation, and "rest and digest" (parasympathetic).

TRB

Focus: Deep Emotional Cleansing through the Breath

Trauma Release Breathwork (TRB) is a profound somatic method that uses conscious breathing to access the deeper layers of your subconscious. By using the breath as a bridge, we reach emotional blockages that often remain inaccessible through traditional talk therapy. During a session, I will guide you through seven distinct breathing techniques. This journey invites you into a deep meditative state where the door to the subconscious opens. Here, you can uncover the core of your traumas, emotions, and limiting patterns. As stored tension is physically and emotionally released, you will experience a sense of true liberation. You will leave the session feeling lighter, more grounded, and deeply reconnected to your authentic self.

Collective healing and connection

I facilitate powerful group experiences designed for release, deep relaxation, and collective healing. These sessions offer a unique opportunity for friends, family, or like-minded individuals to journey together within a safe and supportive environment. Sharing this somatic work in a group often creates a profound resonance, allowing for a unique experience where the collective energy helps individuals go even deeper into their own process.

Movement sessions

Strength, flow and flexibility

Movement is a vital part of my practice. Since 2022, I have specialized in teaching conditioning, poledance, and deep stretching. I offer both private 1-on-1 coaching and group bookings, tailored to your personal goals. Whether you are looking to build strength, increase flexibility, or master a new skill, we move together in a setting that feels right for you. I specifically integrate breathwork into my deep stretching sessions. By focusing on the breath, we calm the nervous system, allowing your body to safely surrender into deeper stretches. This conscious approach not only prevents injury but enables you to make sustainable progress from a state of relaxation rather than force.

Is this session right for you?

Your safety and well-being are my highest priorities. To hold a safe space for your nervous system to do this deep work, it is essential to be mindful of certain contraindications. I cannot accept bookings if you are currently pregnant or if you experience heart disease, a recent stroke, epilepsy, severe glaucoma, or severe asthma. Furthermore, these sessions are not recommended for those with a history of psychosis, schizophrenia, or dissociative disorders.

Preparation & Safety

To ensure a safe and effective experience, I ask that you prepare your body and mind with care. Please refrain from using any recreational drugs for at least three weeks prior to our session. Additionally, I ask that you abstain from alcohol and non-essential medications for the five days leading up to your appointment. If you are currently taking any prescribed medication, please reach out to me before making a booking to ensure these sessions are suitable for you at this time.
